Smallest Wal-Mart Comes Through in a Pinch
Today I went in the smallest Wal-Mart in the world. No joke. The Wal-Mart in Tallassee, AL, is known for being the tiniest of all the Wal-Mart chains. It was a little bigger than a drugstore…maybe something like a Dollar General Store. Mr. Walton would be proud though because they had exactly what I was [...]

Hummer Time
My friends Kelly & Brooke Love visited us today while we were at my parents house in Wagarville. It was great to be able to hug their necks, catch up with them, talk about old times, meet their adorable children, and… ...drive Kelly’s Hummer. After a little while of sitting around and while the saliva [...]

Vacation is Here!
Tiffany, Caleb, and I are leaving for vacation tomorrow. We’re spending a week in Alabama and NW Florida, visiting our family, hooking up with old friends, and reconnecting with extended family. Many will get to meet Caleb for the first time. Some will get to hear him laugh. Some will get to see him smile. [...]

Wesley diagnosed with epilepsy…yeah right
I’ve always thought our dog Wesley would do just about anything to get attention. Well, now he is taking that fierce determination of his to a whole new level: Wesley has epilepsy. I didn’t even know that a dog could get epilepsy, but apparently so. The vet diagnosed him yesterday because he had been having [...]

The Great Outdoors
Caleb loves to be outside. If he is upset, he calms down the second we go outside. We spend a lot of time out of the patio rocking and swinging. We also go walking twice a day. (Of course Caleb doesn’t walk-I push him in his stroller) I can already tell he is going to [...]

Thankful
Caleb and I went up to my old school today to have lunch with my old team. As I walked into the school it reminded me how thankful I am to be able to stay at home with Caleb and not have to work. I enjoyed teaching, but my new life is so much better. [...]

New Favorite Font
The new font you see on the site is my new favorite font: Trebuchet. I think you pronouce that “Treb-you-shay.” It sounds nice and French. Je parle Francais un peur. Oui Oui Misseur. I think it’s the lower case “g” that really makes the difference in determining a lousy typography from a top notch typography. [...]

Baby Dedication Mishap
Baby dedications are somewhat different in most churches. At Wedgwood, it means that you and your wife carry your precious little bundle of joy onto the stage during a worship service. The pastor talks briefly to us about the vital role God should play in the raising of kids. Then he talks to the church [...]

A few things about Dean
We had a really fun week last weekend with Tiffany’s grandparents Clyde and Dean Clower. They drove all the way from Alabama to visit us, and they drove back home on Sunday. They didn’t come to see us. They came to see Caleb … obviously. Needliess to say, it was a huge surprise on Monday [...]
