Marriage and Grace

As a Christ follower, I believe what the Bible says is true. I believe that the God-man Jesus lived perfectly and gave his life for my sin. And because he did, in God’s eyes, I am a holy, righteous saint, just as Jesus. But to my dismay, my personal experience is often in conflict with this truth.

Most people I know are married, but it’s hard to really know if they’re satisfied with their relationship or if they’re faking it really well. Do you know what I mean? In public they can put on a good face, but behind closed doors I wonder if they’re really at each other’s throat, if they’re barely surviving.
