I Love this Land
America is a great nation. It’s not perfect. It’s great though. I can go almost anywhere and feel safe. Countless fanatics want to take our freedom, but since 9/11 our government and armed forces have prevented that from happening. Some have criticized our military, yet they willingly put their lives at risk to protect our [...]

Flags of Our Fathers
I’ve been to Washington once, but never made it to the Iwo Jima Memorial. Never knew it was there to be honest with you. Next time I go, I’ll see it. I’ll take Caleb when he’s old enough. Why is Bush so Hated?
I for one am glad that the election is behind us. I’m not surprised Bush won, but it was closer than I thought it would be. What I still haven’t wrapped my arms around is why the hatred for Bush runs so deep. Is it because he removed a cruel, vicious dictator from power freeing [...]

Could Kerry slum it in the White House?
Here is a funny Op-Ed article that I ran across recently. Thought you’d like it. This guy is British and writes for the London Telegraph. Could Kerry slum it in the White House?

You’ve Gotta Love the Iraqi Information Minister
You’ve gotta love the Iraqi Information Minister, Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf. He’s a man who is unflappable, undeterred, and unpersuaded. He knows what he knows, and he sticks by what he knows. Take these quotes for example:God will roast their stomachs in hell at the hands of Iraqis. Our initial assessment is that they will all die.Faltering [...]
