Disney
We took the family our first Disney vacation a couple weeks ago. Tiffany and I had both been a couple of times growing up, but had forgotten most of our experience, so we were a bit skeptical of how “magical” everyone made it out to be. We were wrong.

Four Days in Boston (Day 4)
Day four was the day we left. But before we took off, we took Caleb to the MIT science museum. With Caleb’s love of science and machines, we went with high hopes, and it didn’t disappoint. It was amazing! Here’s Caleb with the first robot that can understand emotion. He immediately recognized it because it [...]

Four Days in Boston (Day 3)

Wakulla Springs Boat Tour
Think of the most crystal clear cool waters you can imagine. Surrounded by moss-covered trees, off to your left is a lumbering manatee. Off to your right is a sun bathing alligator.

Back from the Bay
We just arrived back home from nearly a week in South Alabama with my parents at their cabin on Mobile Bay. It was a great trip, but like most “vacations” with young kids, they are never as easy and restful as you hope they will be…and need them to be. Somewhere along the seven-hour drive [...]

Kayla’s Big Day
This coming weekend is one we’ve been looking forward to for months. My sister Kayla will be getting married. We’ll load up the boys and lots of luggage for a full day of travel on Thursday all the way to New Hampshire.

Texas, Our Texas
We’re off for a week in Texas. I expect it to feel a little odd. Even though It’s no longer our home, people say that once you’ve lived there, it will always feel like home.
